Beacon of Hope and Joy is a 501c3 organization. All donations go to support the orphaned children and the whole school committee by providing uniforms and the opportunity to learn. A letter acknowledging the receipt of your donation will be mailed to you.
Partner with BOHJ to provide a child with the chance for a future.
New sponsors are needed to help finance the cost of educating the children as many are entering middle school and high school which is more expensive. Daily, more elementary students are becoming orphans due to the AIDS epidemic. BOHJ is helping to educate children at all levels and it is expensive.
Designating Your Donation:
$20 monthly, $80 one trimester, $240 yearly, for schooling, textbooks, and uniforms.
1. Joint sponsorship of a individual child in Harare – Urban schooling is more expensive
2. Sponsorship of an elementary child in Sanyati or Gokwe
3. You may designate your gift to a specific project:
- School shoes and socks
- Sewing machines & material
- Materials & training for counseling Mailbox Club or True Love Waits International
- School supplies
- Big bags of rice and beans
- Cost of shipping a container
4. Donating goods & services : We are continually collecting books, school supplies and clothing to send in the next container.
